Based on the 18z run of the GFS ENS computer model, for the 4 natural gas storage weeks from June 1 to June 28, Natural Gas-Weighted Degree Days (GWDDs)--a composite of heating & cooling degree days and population distribution patterns that estimates the contribution of temperature to natural gas demand--will total 316 GWDDs, 23% above the historical average of 257 GWDDs suggesting that temperature-driven natural gas demand will be elevated relative to seasonal averages. Compared to the computer model run from 6 hours ago, forecast GWDDs have fallen -19 GWDDs or -5.7%.
